The Inspiring Mobility Leader of the Year Award recognizes exceptional leaders who demonstrate a profound commitment to advancing mobility within their organizations. This prestigious award celebrates individuals or teams who not only excel in managing relocation processes but also inspires others through their strategic vision, innovative practices, and dedication to social responsibility. 

Category Types and Criteria

1. Vision and Strategy

Demonstrates a clear vision and strategic approach to mobility that aligns with organizational goals and enhances employee experience. Implements innovative and effective mobility programs or solutions that improve the relocation process for employees, enhancing satisfaction and retention. 

2. ESG & Social Responsibility

Exhibits a deep understanding of global cultures and practices, promoting inclusivity and diversity in mobility initiatives. 

3. Stakeholder Collaboration 

Actively supports and empowers employees throughout the mobility process, providing resources and guidance to help them navigate transitions. Fosters strong relationships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, finance, legal, and third-party service providers, to streamline mobility processes.  Engages with local communities in destinations where employees are placed, promoting a positive company image and supporting social initiatives.

4. Quantitative & Qualitative 

Leads change initiatives effectively, helping the organization adapt to changing mobility trends and regulations while ensuring a smooth transition for employees. Utilizes data and analytics to inform mobility strategies, demonstrating the impact of programs, and enhances mobility effectiveness. Provides evidence of the positive impact of mobility on employee engagement, productivity, and retention, including measurable outcomes or success stories. Demonstrates knowledge and implementation of compliance with international laws and regulations related to mobility, ensuring the organization mitigates risks. 

Entries should include: 

  • Your or your team's strengths 
  • Evidence of leadership, innovation, expertise, and service delivery 
  • Details of challenges overcome, and innovations made 
  • Evidence of your achievements and positive impact on the wider global mobility industry 
  • Proof of knowledge sharing within the global mobility industry and being a positive role model.

Guidelines for Entry

In order for your entry to be considered, please adhere to the following general guidelines for entry: 

  • All submissions must be made online and take the format requested in all cases, the judges are looking for concise submissions and your entry should cover as many of the listed criteria as possible 
  • Each entry should relate to the last two years 
  • Please keep the total word count of your entry to 2,000 words 

Supporting documentation

You are required to supply up to three supporting documents for this award, to be provided in low-resolution format and uploaded online. 

Supporting documents can include:
  • Testimonials (marketing pitches will result in disqualification) 
  • Demonstrable metrics 

Judging

Judging will be determined by a panel of your peers.  The panel should consist of at least five (5) individuals from the following pools:

Group Breakdown
  • One member of the Awards Committee
  • One active member of the Board of Directors
  • One recipient of the Hall of Leaders Award
  • One previous award winner

There will be no more than 5 individuals on the judging/selection committee. Representation from the following verticals (when possible):

  • Real Estate Brokerage Firms
  • Relocation Appraisers
  • Mobility Service Companies
  • Relocation Management Companies
  • Corporate Premier Members

All submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on July 27, 2025.
