From tax relief to immigration reform and real estate public policies to duty of care and compliance, WERC advocates for talent mobility professionals through our public policy efforts. We engage on any issue that involves the movement of a current or potential employee by a company for employment purposes, seeking solutions that best enable companies to support a mobile workforce.

Advocating for Talent Mobility

WERC supports the industry by monitoring a range of issue areas that impact talent mobility and engaging with the U.S. government, other government entities, and international organizations. WERC is a member of the International Organization of Employers and is actively involved with the leadership of its Business Advisory Group on Migration. WERC is active in the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and engages with numerous coalitions to advance initiatives that support employers and their transferees. We work with our members and policymakers to provide solutions that support talent everywhere for businesses and employees.
