Frequently Asked Questions

Program Basics

What is the WERC Momentum Mentorship Program?

The WERC Momentum Mentorship Program connects experienced global talent mobility leaders with emerging industry leaders through a project-based, competitive format. Teams, called pods, work together on a real industry challenge tied to the annual theme, then present their solutions at the WERC Global Conference. It's part mentorship, part competition, and unlike a traditional mentorship experience.

What is the 2026 program theme?

This year's theme is Redefining Global Mobility Through High-Impact Partnerships. It reflects what most of us already know: the best mobility outcomes happen when the right people are working together. Pods will explore what that looks like in practice. For example,  partnerships that reduce friction for relocating employees, collaboration that helps organizations work more efficiently, and relationships that create real career momentum for emerging leaders.

How long does the program run?

Approximately 7 months, from the official launch on March 16, 2026, through final presentations at WERC Global on October 26, 2026.

Is there a cost to participate?

No cost; participants must have an active WERC membership.

Application & Eligibility

Who can apply to be a mentee?

Global talent mobility professionals with varying levels of experience, from less than one year to over ten. The best candidates are looking to expand their experience, are ready to make their mark on the talent mobility industry, and are ready to do real project work.

What qualifications are required for mentors?

Senior or C-level executives with proven success in global talent mobility who are invested in developing the next generation of professionals. If you have hard-won knowledge and want to put it to work in a meaningful way, this program is built for you.
