The Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) convened members and distinguished guests in historic Old City, Philadelphia, on 25-26 March for a two-day Spring Summit themed “Honor the Past and Relocate the Future.” Against the backdrop of America’s birthplace—and in a milestone year celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary—the program blended education, engagement, and a deep appreciation for the region’s legacy.
The summit opened on Wednesday with an energetic photographic scavenger hunt through Old City. Participants explored Philadelphia’s rich historic landscape while competing for prizes recognizing the most patriotic images, the fastest completion, and the most creative depiction of global mobility.

Thursday’s programming began with dedicated roundtable discussions for both corporate attendees and supplier partners, fostering meaningful dialogue across the mobility community. The afternoon featured a lively and memorable appearance by “Dr. Benjamin Franklin,” who shared humorous and insightful reflections on his own relocation from Boston to Philadelphia. The educational focus continued with Temple University Law Professor Jonathan Grode, who delivered a compelling overview of immigration throughout U.S. history.
The final session highlighted the evolution of four key industry verticals—real estate, mortgage, household goods, and temporary housing—tracing their development from early practices to the modern mobility landscape.
Throughout the summit, attendees enjoyed abundant networking, high-quality educational content, and a stunning venue overlooking Independence Hall—a fitting setting for honoring America’s past while looking ahead to the future of global mobility. With perfect spring weather and a vibrant sense of national pride, the event served as an ideal tribute to America’s 250th anniversary.
