WERC Applauds Reintroduction of Bipartisan Dignity Act of 2025, H.R. 4393

WASHINGTON, DC—WERC Vice President of Public Policy and Research Michael T. Jackson issued the following statement today in support of the recently reintroduced bipartisan Dignity Act of 2025, a comprehensive immigration reform bill that would modernize the visa and green card system talent mobility professionals utilize to build a competitive, world-class U.S. workforce:

“U.S. employers need a modernized employment-based immigration system that remedies the adjudication and visa access challenges that allows them to address critical skills gaps and to effectively move the current and potential talent essential for empowering economic growth and workforce growth.

“The Dignity Act is an important bipartisan step toward addressing many of these challenges. WERC and our members are ready to work with Rep. Salazar, the bill’s co-sponsors, and other stakeholders, to enact solutions that best support the employers and their workforces at the heart of the United States’ economic competitiveness and innovation.”
