Advocacy Day

Talent Mobility on Capitol Hill

New Date: Thursday, 18 September | Hybrid Format | 9 a.m.–5 p.m. ET

With Congress poised to revisit U.S. tax code legislation—including the future of the 2017 tax cuts—and with immigration reform gaining momentum, the talent mobility industry is at a pivotal moment. Now more than ever, your voice matters. WERC’s Advocacy Day is your opportunity to directly engage with policymakers and shape the future of the industry—whether you’re joining us in Washington, D.C., or participating virtually.

This year’s hybrid format ensures more members can take part, regardless of travel or approval challenges. You'll have the chance to advocate for critical issues like reinstating the moving expense tax deduction and improving employment-based immigration policies—in person or from wherever you are.

What to Expect

WERC will coordinate up to three group meetings per participant with key House and Senate offices, based on geography and committee relevance. Participants will join either in-person Capitol Hill meetings or scheduled virtual meetings, depending on availability and preference.

Advocacy Day 2025 has been approved for 6 CE credits for CRP®/GMS®/GMS-T® certification holders.

New Registration Details Coming Soon

We’re updating our registration to reflect the hybrid format. The current registration link has been removed for now—please stay tuned for more details.
