Washington, D.C.—WERC, the world’s largest and leading professional association for global talent mobility, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new, highly respected industry leaders to its board of directors, starting a three-year term on 1 January 2026.
The new directors were selected for their complementary leadership, global perspectives, and commitment to advancing the talent mobility industry. To support the continued growth of WERC’s significantly expanded global footprint, WERC’s board members will now collectively represent on-the-ground presence in and expertise across the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, and Latin America.
The new members joining the 2026 WERC Board of Directors are:
- Azmina Aboobaker, Director, Immigration & Global Mobility Operations, Meta
- Rita Hernandez, President and Founder, PremierDS
- Nidia Knight, Chief Human Resource Officer and Group General Manager, International SOS
- Keryn Mendes, GMS-T, Global Mobility Lead, Adobe

The new directors will join the existing board members to help inform WERC’s strategic initiatives, including the global conference, regional summits, Leadership WERCshops, research, public policy advocacy, education, and networking opportunities.
