ESG Excellence in Talent Mobility Award

The ESG Excellence in Talent Mobility Award recognizes organizations or individuals that have made significant strides in integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices within their internal talent mobility programs or with their clients. This award celebrates ESG initiatives that not only enhance environmental sustainability but also promote social responsibility and robust governance. It honors companies that have successfully implemented eco-friendly mobility solutions, fostered diversity and inclusion, and established transparent, ethical governance structures. Through this award, we aim to highlight the innovative efforts of organizations committed to creating a positive impact on both their workforce and the planet.

Award Criteria

1. Environmental Impact
  • Implementation of environmentally friendly and low carbon mobility solutions (e.g., electric vehicles, carbon offset programs). 
  • Quantified reduction of carbon footprint through ESG mobility policies and practices. 
  • Initiatives to minimize waste and promote recycling within mobility programs. 
2. Social Responsibility
  • Promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion within talent mobility. 
  • Support for employee well-being and work-life balance during relocations. 
  • Engagement with local communities and support for social causes in relocation destinations. 
3. Governance and Transparency 
  • Establishment of clear, ethical guidelines and policies for talent mobility. 
  • Regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with ESG standards. 
  • Transparent reporting on ESG goals and achievements. 
4. Innovation and Leadership
  • Development of innovative solutions to address ESG challenges in talent mobility.
  • Leadership in advocating for ESG practices within the industry.
  • Collaboration with other organizations to promote ESG in talent mobility.
5. Employee Engagement
  • Involvement of employees in ESG initiatives and decision-making processes. 
  • Recognition and rewards for employees who contribute to ESG goals. 
  • Training and education programs to raise awareness about ESG in mobility. 

These criteria ensure that the award recognizes comprehensive and impactful efforts towards sustainability in the talent mobility industry. 

Entries should include: 

  • Entries can be self-nominated or on a team’s behalf.   
  • Your or your team’s strengths 
  • Details of challenges overcome, and innovations made 
  • Evidence of the team’s achievements and positive impact on the wider global mobility industry 

Guidelines for Entry

In order for your entry to be considered, please adhere to the following general guidelines for entry: 

  • All submissions must be made online and take the format requested in all cases. The judges are looking for concise submissions, and your entry should cover as many of the listed criteria as possible 
  • Each entry should relate to the last two years 
  • Please keep the total word count of your entry to 2,700 words 

Supporting documentation

You are required to supply up to three supporting documents for this award, to be provided in low-resolution format and uploaded online. 

Supporting documents can include:
  • Client feedback/case studies 
  • Testimonials (marketing pitches will result in disqualification) 
  • Demos or screenshots of technology 
  • Summaries of research 
  • Demonstrable metrics 

Judging

Judging will be determined by a panel of your peers.  The panel should consist of at least five (5) individuals from the following pools:

Group Breakdown
  • One Member From the Sustainability Council
  • One Sustainability Technical Expert
  • One Member of the Awards Committee
  • One Active Member of the Board of Directors
  • One Recipient of the Hall of Leaders Award
  • One Previous Award Winner

There will be no more than 9 individuals on the judging/selection committee. Representation from the following verticals (when possible):

  • Real Estate Brokerage Firms
  • Relocation Appraisers
  • Mobility Service Companies
  • Relocation Management Companies
  • Corporate Premier Members
