WERC’s Momentum Mentorship Program is a project-based experience designed to cultivate the next generation of global mobility leaders. Moving beyond traditional mentorship models, the program brings together pods of mentors, mentees, and advisors who collaborate around an annual theme to develop ideas, insights, or solutions that meaningfully contribute to the mobility industry.
Through a structured mix of education, mentorship, and team-based collaboration, participants gain hands-on experience, expand their professional networks, and strengthen leadership skills. By engaging professionals across career stages and geographies, Momentum reinforces WERC’s commitment to building a more connected, innovative, and future-ready global mobility community.
Natascha Clark, GMS-T, director of EMEA business development at Bristol Global Mobility, was recognized as an Advisor of the Year for delivering high-impact guidance despite significant time-zone constraints, as well as for her professionalism, depth of experience, and supportive leadership style. In this Q&A, Natascha reflects on her global career, her advisory philosophy, and the power of shared vision in mentorship.
Can you share a bit about your background in global mobility and how your experience informs the way you advise and support teams?
My global mobility journey spans more than 25 years, having lived and worked across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. I’ve experienced mobility from nearly every angle: expatriate, repatriate, commuter, accompanying spouse, and short-term assignee, while raising my daughter, a third-culture kid. All of my amazing journey gives me a deep understanding of the human, operational, cultural, and financial realities behind mobility decisions.
Together as a team with the mentors and mentees, we created a bold, shared vision and allowed ourselves to “dream big.” A commitment to accountability, preparation, and open-mindedness sat at the core of how we worked, and those values were fully shared across the team, mentors, and mentees alike. That alignment made it a true partnership. Showing up was easy because it was clear we were all working toward the same goal.
Feedback consistently highlighted how valuable and actionable your guidance was. How do you approach giving feedback in a way that helps teams grow and gain confidence?
Effective advisory support is equal parts strategic sounding board and steady partner. It means being proactive, present, and deeply engaged, asking the right questions, stress-testing ideas, and helping teams sharpen their thinking so it truly resonates with the intended audience, clearly delivering a value proposition.
As mentors, we focus on anticipating challenges and objections early. In high-stakes moments like final presentations, my role is to bring clarity, prioritization, and alignment, ensuring the core message is strong, the key message is clear, and the delivery feels confident and authentic, meaning the teams fully own their message, delivering it with passion and conviction.
You were recognized for delivering high impact despite time-zone challenges. How do you stay present and accessible for teams across geographies while maintaining momentum and trust?
The real credit goes to the mentees! They worked tirelessly across nine time zones, balancing full-time careers, motherhood, graduate studies, and other responsibilities. They dreamed big and gave everything to successfully navigate every challenge.
In a global environment, it’s really about being there when it matters and supporting the team however you can.
What does being named Advisor of the Year mean to you, and what lessons from this experience will you carry into future advisory or leadership roles?
Being named Advisor of the Year is deeply humbling. It’s an honor that reflects not just the outcomes achieved, but the importance of building thoughtful, relationship-driven teams. Investing in people reminds me that the impact of guidance is not measured solely by what gets done but also by the trust, confidence, and growth that develop along the way.
Equally important is the power of a shared vision. Helping teams dream boldly and align around a common goal creates energy, focus, and a sense of purpose that elevates every contribution. Teamwork is at the heart of that process; when individuals feel respected, heard, and valued, collaboration flourishes, and challenges become opportunities rather than obstacles.
Mentorship is a two-way street. I gained just as much from my fellow mentors as from my mentees. Their creativity, dedication, and fresh perspectives challenged me to think differently, flex, and grow alongside them.
What are you looking forward to professionally this year?
This year, I am excited to continue building and deepening partnerships across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex mobility landscape with confidence. I am particularly looking forward to supporting people-focused, innovative mobility strategies that align with broader business objectives, while also mentoring teams and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our advisory capabilities at Bristol Global Mobility.
I also look forward to strengthening connections with WERC and contributing wherever I can to support its mission and community.
